I have your channel to thank for getting my 10 year old daughter excited about ice fishing. That is huge for me! I just did some walleye fishing with my wife on the Bay of Quinte. I just uploaded a little preview while I put the finishing touches on the longer video. Had an awesome day, and much of my inspiration to do it (the fishing and the video) came from In Depth Outdoors. Thank you guys!

nobody talks about mapping and electronics like you guys do. This is a genuine informative show for the real hardcore fishermen. Not to mention the awesome camera work, you guys got a recipe to be the best fishing show.

I love the clips man. Great Adventure!! The first laker got me curious on one thing. Knowing that you used a walleye blank on this episode, do you think a medium action rod between 32-38 inches is a good blank to cover both walleye and lake trout as long it has a balance of bend and backbone?

come to lake simcoe for some trophy lakers, fish average 6-12lbs, and white fish are 4-7lbs. fish grow fast and big in the warm water of that lake. the main lake is just getting decent ice right now

What is the point of using back reel? Why not let the drag do the work. Just curious. Love the show!

That fish caught me by surprise. Normally I wouldn't back reel on a lake trout. I thought it was a smaller fish and went to back reel just in case I needed to give it a couple feet at the hole. When that fish got under the ice and kicked it into overdrive... I had to make the best of the situation. :) Thankfully I didn't lose the fish.

Tuned Up Custom LTP (Lake Trout Precision) when fishing swimbaits. Tuned Up Customs Commander if we downsize to smaller spoons. If I had to pick one it would be the LTP all day.

Looks like you guys were having a blast in this episode. I just posted a lake trout video on my channel, would love if you checked it out. I was doing exactly what you guys were except I'm out in Montana!
