I was born in Toronto, but have lived and visited in many of these towns. Elmira, for example, in Woolwich County, has a large and vibrant Mennonite community. I'm probably biased, but Ontario is such a beautiful province with so many landscapes, so many pockets of cultural uniqueness, that you couldn't go wrong regardless of where you travel. Well, I'm from Peterborough, Ontario. Maybe I'm biased , but I think Peterborough is a wonderful city. My kids have renamed Cambridge to Lamebridge. Rightly so. Your focus on the downtown portion of Galt is commended but that core is also riddled with socioeconomic issues and Cambridge is just basically big box stores and commuters that migrated from the 905 area code. Its rich history has been watered down and in some cases out of existence.
@thewanderingtravellers61Ай бұрын
That's too bad. I was in Galt on Wednesday, I understand what you mean. Still has beautiful architecture, the mill and the Grand River

I invite anyone in the comments section to share their reasons why the top four choices should be reconsidered. There have been numerous mentions of Almonte, Perth, and a few others. However, these locations lack the unique qualities that Elora, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Goderich possess. Therefore, I believe these are excellent selections.

Thank you for information provided ❤, I enjoyed the video 👍however, using the qualifier of “Top” 10 Towns is very subjective at best! There are many, many towns, for example, east of Toronto and north of Toronto that are formidable to the ones shown. I realize its impossible see them all and, may may also have been helpful to know the criteria used to discern the ranking order as, it would also help understand why some of the ones chosen trumped others as well. I've been to almost everyone of these towns mentioned plus many more in other regions of Ontario and simply knowing what each of these towns offer especially, if like myself, your audience is looking for detours/adventures to take on their way to a particular geographic region of Ontario is very useful. 🚗🏍️🛥️🏕️
