An oblique injury to a QB is just as serious as a broken finger to a wideout, i.e., Worthy. It's even more serious to someone who has lower ab/groin injuries, which Quinn has suffered. The only treatment for an oblique is rest, specifically no torque on your core. Quinn will not be fully healthy until several months after he stops playing for the season. This is rather impactful, considering Quinn wants to enter the draft. He is risking the start of his professional career.

Yeah. You could see He played hurt last week. It isnt an excuse, but you could see it last 2 weeks.

Quinn was a selfish person to play the last 2 games if he is hurt. What scares me is him saying he’s coming back next year and screwing the other qbs who are wasting their turn. He will never get drafted with his bad play but he needs to transfer not arch who has waited his turn. Folks this is setting up badly for UT

@refractorhead agree. I'm sadly amazed by the number of so-called fans calling him mid at best. He risked his college career for his hs team as a junior and is doing the same now. He has given everything to every team he has played. If he wins out on the reg season, it will be only the third time in 100 years of UT football to have a starter loss one game or less in back to back seasons. VY and Colt are the others.

@jamescox857 selfish because he wants to play and try to help his team? Risking his health to help the Longhorns become a playoff team again? The easy thing to do would have been to sit out and wait.

Best Quarterback in the SEC? Mr Arch Manning. Also, it's spelled Pavia not Pavilla so it would be pronounced quickly as a one syllable word. Pa like Joe-Pa and Via sounds like Villa but said very quickly. One syllable not two.

In Spanish, 2 ll's are 'y', thus, Pavia
@vicenzor96996 сағат бұрын
@@Brucev7 I know. I speak Spanish. The difference is in how they're pronounced. When there's no "LL" and it's instead Pavia it's pronounced very quickly as a 1 syllable word. If it was Pavilla it would be pronounced more drawn out with 2 syllables and accent on the 2nd syllable. Very similar but different.

Quinn is a very good clean pocket QB, which is fine against most opponents. Hi lack of ability to scramble, run, or move in the pocket, and his inability to throw the deep ball well are huge negatives. No doubt Quinn’s injury magnified these limitations. Additionally, the lack of a good running game puts more pressure on any QB. Arch does not have these limitations and would likely do better against a great defense like Georgia. Arch right now is the best QB in the SEC.

According to the Texas participation site. Xavier Filsaime played vs. Georgia, Jordon Johnson-Rubell did not. We will have to see if it is a trend and I don't have the snap breakdown but I think he may not actually be substantially behind.

Quinn doesn't have the athletic ability and or speed to really hurt a team when things break down

@philmorris88626 сағат бұрын
Quinn can run in some cases but only against slow defenders. Against a strong defense he is just too slow and too late to decide to run.
