Light snow is not a problem. The problem is they are saying parts of this storm will have snow and freezing rain or sleet. I remember in the 90s, one Thanksgiving, we were having dinner in Richardson watching a Cowboys's game in Richardson, with a family member, and it began to sleet / freezing rain. He and I had planned to leave after the game, for the Hill Country, to hunt deer on his lease. We were in a 4 wheel drive SUV. There was no sand or salt on the freeways, and traffic was extremely light, but few regular cars made it over bridges. It took us several hours to get past the ice to Hillsboro. Most did not make it at all. That is why Bobby said it will be dicey Thursday. I am from the coast and have driven a 4 wheel drive since I was a boy in the late 40's and without tire chains, I would have not gone past the first bridge with a 4x4.

Would not like to rematch with the corn husker. They are poor sports. They ran away from Texas rather than get beaten again in Memorial Stadium as I predicted they would eventually do when we entered the Big 8. Worse than aggys. Yormark hated Texas for running them off IMHO.

But he hated Texas because of it and the fact that Nebraska was the star of that conference and they let teams get away with buying away Texas high school recruits. When Texas entered the conference, the Dallas Morning News, which hates football was attracted to what Nebraska was doing, and began to bird dog them like they did the old Southwest Conference members for illegal recruiting payoffs. Result was Nebraska was on multiple probations and could not dominate. And I had told a bunch of Nebraska fans that was going to happen to them when I found myself on a boat with them on an eight day tuna fishing trip in the Pacific in 96. And they were pissed. Neither could other teams recruit here as they used to do. It was that blatant before. That is why they still hate Texas our winning football heritage surpasses them. When I was at UT, in 64, Texas Tech came to Austin, with "This is the year" written on their cars. They lost but their attitude was shared by Yormark when we left his conference last year. NIL did not change that aspect.
