i am self studying this subject and have been watching your videos and they help me a lot!!! do i have to remember a lot of the quotes and also dates? and also things from the bible? thank you kindly!! :)

In most cases quotes help to extend answers but sometimes quotes are very important such as in Ontological. If you go over the specification on the OCR website it will break down each topic and if they mention a book or passage e.g Ephisians or Redemptoris Missio it is worth remembering a quote. Dates only help so you can remember who comes when so you don't say Paley inspired Aquinas for example. Bible quotes/passages do help to extend answers and show a deeper understanding so worth learning a few you can use in different answers :)

If you were to answer a question on the ontological argument do you think it would be easier to argue for or against Anselm

I think both angles work well. It is a difficult topic so neither way is easier so I think it is based on which argument is more convicing Anselm vs Gaunilo/Kant. Personally I like Anselm's argument but the criticisms do hold some clout :)

Very true. You find that with quite a few arguments that seem to mirror pretty closely a previous argument. Descartes just provides a different definition and some maths 😂
