Please correct : Both mounting bol have same 45 NM Torque setting. The catch is when you are opting Crash guard the torque figure changes for RHS mounting bolt .That is why 60NM is mentioned in installation guide of RE OEM crash guard and 45 NM which is standard torque for non accessoried version.I too went through manual and found this .If u are not using any crash guard stock 45NM setting is enough.

Thank you for the priceless wisdom and timely information. I am from the old culture. Riding since 1967. I am amazed at how ignorant most owner/operators are of mechanical knowledge, bikes and cars. I recently fitted RE Sump/Engine guard and was pleased to find the correct torque settings included on the box. A happy 452 owner. Yet to do a long ride, but almost have the bike ready. Engine protection, Rear rack luggage plate, Dedicated Barkbusters, Larger Wind shield & bar risers which don't fit well & need to be replaced, "Mototorque" items seem to be the only ones I can find that look good. From eBay. I am making my own simple saddlebag support, mainly to prevent them getting into the wheel arch. Cheers from Oz 👍

Watched your video thank you! So I went to check my Himalayan 452. The handlebar mount on the right was okay but the left was out of torque setting ! so I continued on checking key nut and bolts the front right was set to 45 nm and not the 60nm so tightened it up to the correct setting. This was on a 2024 uk bike. Now we have the torque settings we can check! Thanks for the video👍🏻 I have shared it on the Himalayan forums I follow on line.

Superb video as always 😁 Checking the Torques was the first thing I did after getting my hands on the workshop manual. Have you managed to find a fix for the famous "right side pull issue" though? I did the fork twist reset process by loosening the bolts and giving it a few pumps, checked the rear wheel alignment as well..Nothing seems to work. I feel it might have something to do with wheel truing. Also added the cramp buster after watching your video. SUCH A GAME CHANGER. Thank you for that 😁

Check if the coolant is upto the max level. And also check the engine oil level. If it persists even after that, take it to the SC and check for fault codes in obd.

I had several liguid cooled BMW's. The fans would cycle like that in hot slow traffic. I put a manual bypass switch on the fan. Whenever in slow hot traffic I would turn the fan on manually and leave it on till out of town.
