The first time I saw/heard Onur Ozer. It was at Mutek in Montreal in 2006 at Piknic Electronic. It was the 1st weekend of June. It was cold, it was gray and there was rain. But Onur Ozer and Mathias Kaden mixed that day. I discovered it thanks to the web barely 1 month before. For me it was a musical revelation. When I arrived there. Hahahaaa I was like a "groopy" Hahaha... And more!!! Mathias Kaden, who was a few feet from me, sat down. Memorable day and above all... It was the beginning of new musical knowledge, new sounds. Onur Ozer had his unique sound. Amazing

ONur was always a good dj, but he was playing the same minimal plonk we all were playing and buying in the early 2000s...but the last 8 years or so....the records he digs and plays, are superb.
