My first Dlink VGA security camera costs more than that whole system! It did have 10X PTZ, but it did not have any kind of night vision so it was useless for outdoor monitoring unless you used a supplemental light.

I saw this one but I need 16 channels and they have one with 16 channels but only a couple videos about onwote systems and most other 4k 8 channel systems being 600-1000 I think I might just go with blue iris. Have ou used blue iris?

Yes, I check it daily, its been working great. I set up notifications thru app on one camera, seems to get a lot of false motions but i didn't lower sensitivity yet

As I pointed out before, the internal IR lights have major issues. 1. Dust and bugs on 1080p+ easily trip the motion alert so they record a bunch of nothing. And bugs are still attracted to the IR lights. 2. The lighting is flat making it hard to identify faces, eyes act as reflectors and objects up close have blown out highlights. It's much better to remove the led's (desolder) and use an external IR light which plugs inline and mount it a few feet away. Reflecting it off a wall works best. The night vision recordings will look more like black & white daylight recordings if you do that.

Yes, they do the job unless you want to do that extra work. The system in my house has IR and or white LEDs, you can choose which one or both on motion

Sure a lot of info, I somehow missed or you didn't show Network access for remote view, your phone had WiFi on. 3rd Video I watched. But REALLY WANT someone to show the Network setup. Will a port need to be opened. A particular Port. Hope I don't have to watch more Onwote Videos lacking the Remote Setup. Sure a lot of info, just not the important part?

Once you set up your account and connect the camera to wifi, you can remotely view from anywhere with internet access.

@@MotoCheez You are correct ."Once you set up your account":, but the problem is no instruction on how to set up the account. I tried for two weeks to set up, but still not able to set up. Email to China for Tech support, still not able to set up because they did not give me a step by step instruction. Just tell me try one thing after another.
