I'm gonna cry................. I did this and struggled for 30 min wondering why when I transfered to audio out I got no audio.... So everything he did, I did, and still no audio.... Just realized my monitor volume was at zero....... DON'T FORGET TO TURN YOUR MONTIOR VOLUME UP. THANK ME LATER. FML. (used to just adjust volume on my pc... yes but it will not sound good as the monitor audio output chip is not good, so is better to get a wired usb speaker and hook to ps5 usb which will be regconise as wired headset

If you're going to keep your PC on when playing your console there is a much better option. Using a 3.5mm audio male-to-male cable connect the monitor's headphone output to your PC's Line In port. If you do this you can also mute the Line In when not in use (sometimes there's a hiss) then just unmute it when you're using the console.

i used to have a tv and use that as a monitor but recently i got a sweaty refresh rate monitor (with no speakers in) and just accepted using the ps5 or switch would have me plug the speakers into the controller directly. this is way better and i feel dumb for not thinking of it xD thanks man

Thanks for an easy solution. I have a PreSonus Audiobox USB Audio interface, connected to the PS5 with two studio monitors and a Big Knob passive monitor controller in between. I hooked the Aux cable from my Display to the aux input on the Big knob and the audio interface works with the PS5. I’m astonished but it works, i got stereo audio now!

You probably need a DAC/AMP combo. The DAC converts the audio, while the built-in amplifier will make the signal louder.

@@ssatish.728 I found that there are some USB adapter which is able to provide solution. Either something called USB Bluetooth Transmitter OR USB to 3.5mm Audio. Also it is better to verify with the seller whether is It really supports PS5. Hope this information help you too😊😊

Does your Logitech speakers sound loud enough when you connected to the monitor? So I have an LG monitor, there’s no built in speakers, bought the Logitech Z207 speakers. When using Bluetooth from my phone it sounds clear and loud and it actually gets even louder when I raise the volume all the way up from my phone. With the monitor or the ps5 there isn’t an external audio setting to increasing the volume or anything. So even at maxed volume it still sounds low. Any help?

You missed the most important thing in using pc speakers, the power source. Most if not all pc speakers draw power using usb cable. What to do about that??

@@freakasound that's a very dumb answer. But ty any ways. Using speakers on your ps5 can draw too much power than its supposed to and cause a message like "too many usb devices connected" to pop up. Also it could potentially hurt ps5. If monitor have a usb NEVER use it as supply dource. Best thing is to use a phone charger that has the right V and AM output.

I connect my speakers to the PS5 in the exact same way... I use a 32" monitor and sit at some distance from the monitor and rather game on it like a TV... The issue is that I am unable to control the volume up or down from the PS5 controller... The only way I can control the volume is to change it from the monitor setting ... This is rather cumbersome to reach out to the monitor every time! Is there any way to make volume adjustments from the PS5 controller itself?

Using your configuration, when I'm playing my PS5, Is the sound just as good as If I was using my Sound blaster audio card or does this connection, as you have demonstrated, cheapen the sound? Next, Do I have to reverse this connection EVERYTIME I'm not playing PS5 and I want to watch a movie with my default sound blaster card set up? My other option is to use my (G27QC A-SA) Gigabyte monitor's integrated speaker while playing on my PS5 but I don't know how good a sound that will produce, I haven't tried it yet. I got a big sound system with 2 speaker on left 2 speaker on right and one in the middle plus a big bass box they all are connected into... then you connect the bass box to the tvs 3.5mm (this is the only way to connect them to tv) and then i have hdmi 2.1 earc connected from tv to ps5 but when i do a surround sound test or play games or watch a movie, sound only comes from the left external speaker and bassbox... how do i fix?

@@hayabusa09 idk it just didn't work. Ps5 doesn't support Bluetooth connection with the speakers. The USB has to be directly connected to the console, but then I wouldn't be able to use it for the pc without switching over the USB connection everytime... so I bought a USB selector switch to make it work.

@@hayabusa09 and I do like them! The rgbs are pretty and they sound great, but the software for controls can be pretty buggy sometimes... but they can be fixed if you have the right firmware

You need a 3.5mm “ground loop isolator” you plug the speaker wire into the ground loop isolator and plug the device into your monitor and that should clear up the buzzing. Amazon sells them for 10$

This is helpful. I switch between using this and using my capture card setup for audio. Ps5 connected to my capture card then the capture card through my Monitor then I’ll use the capture cards software to import all my sound through my speakers then just chill on 4k everything😂 but yeah video is easier

the audio out put is from your monitor not ps5 thus loss in sound quality. just use a usb wired speaker plug to ps5 usb. will not work with 3.5mm

Auxiliary chords break so easily. I've had one for 2.5 months and its already doing the low frequency hum smh.. I'm trying to find a bluetooth adapter. Sony needs to allow ps5 to connect to bluetooth speakers. This is ridiculous. I hate shitty ass auxiliary chords and was so happy when cars started having built in bluetooth instead of having to use the aux input. Using the auxiliary chord is like travelling back to 2010.
