Onyx Plus review

The Sirius XM Onyx plus is one of the better radios ever made. Pause,rewind content for up to an hour. When changing music channels, the song plays from the beginning. When changing to a talk channel, start from the segment beginning or the previous forty minutes.
Sports ticker for every major sport pro and college. Most colleges are listed.
I have been a subscriber since 2005 and have listened to sirius xm in every state from Arizona to New York. From Minnesota to South Carolina. Every channel comes in perfectly clear no matter what the temperature or the weather.

this is the best radio still in 2023. the EZ model isnt bad either but I like teh album art on the plus

Hey Beau. Can you plug the sirius xm home onyx unit into a Bose radio/cd player on aux for the speakers or do you have to buy separate speakers. I'm talking home use, not car??? Thanks.

I bought this from my local Best Buy about two weeks ago because my cheap company leased me a 2018 Chevy Equinox and no satellite radio or tuner capability at all. This one seems nice. Looks like there's not a way to tag your favorite song or artist so it would pop up on different stations at all over you?

FYI- I'm getting ready to buy my 3rd Onyx Plus. I use the same unit for all of my cars so I mount and unmount it quite often. I'm also very careful in how I do it. The connector for the audio will break. Suddenly you will lose one channel that will come back if you wiggle it a bit. Then it just goes and you have to use the FM function to get stereo sound.

Great review! Answered several of my questions but one left-- what's the max channel number you can go to on this unit? Can you get any of the 7xx stations?
