I have two questions regarding this fake life style.. In our area an SDM while on job gave UPSC and cleared it.. Now tell me how he was able to attend pre if Sunday is not off.. How the hell he appeared for mains.. Which is atleast a week long process if he is 24*7 on duty.. And how in the hell he travelled to Delhi to give the interview it self.. I am not saying you are wrong.. But I am saying you are trying to showcase how hectic life of an SDM is.. And how much one needs to work so rather than focusing on perks focus on work is what you were trying to say.. But you didn't mention the terms on which the leaves are given or granted.. Public holidays are off.. I am not saying this job is full of enjoyment and party kind of stuff.. But I can assure you that with this job you can make work life balance.. And with due respect mam.. If you do not have time for lunch.. Then study the laws again one more time.. Where it is clearly stated that an employer must give time to the employee after a sufficient amount of work is done.. Like 10 to 1 and lunch for half an hour.. Now if you are doing lunch in Vehicle.. Then you are doing it by your choice.. It's not mandatory.. It's your right and you must claim it..

U can see SDM as shadow of DM at Sub divisional level.. DC is boss of All SDMs.. And also have some special powers and Responsibility, not given to SDM at sub divisional level.. DM being a very old office in india is almost the culmination point and supervisor fo all field officials of distt. Powers and Auro of SDMs in Sub divisional level is rather lesser in this respect if compared to DMs
