I am so sick and tired of the comments. I totally agree with you all that tiger's shouldn't be confined in a small, public area, but the thing is that the tiger would most likely die in the wild. It is used to being in a human society and it loves the human as its dad. The wild can be much more cruel than a loving man who takes care of his belloved pet. You could clearly see the tiger trying to save the man from "drowning" that only show's me how much it loves him.

Magdan Salbanov It definitely couldn't survive in the wild as Michael rescued the tigers (only Enzo is in this one since this is an older video). Plus, this enclosure is better than most zoos and is bigger than you can tell. It opens into another portion through a tunnel. And it's not really public as it's his backyard which has high brick walls.

Almost everyone in the comments is saying tigers aren't pets and that is true. they aren't. but it's the best option. If a day cones when no animals are ever hunted then this sort of thing will keep so deal with it. If you really did love animals you would understand that sometimes it is safer behind lock and key then out in the wild. Anyway the tiger here seems completely content and has been treated with love and compassion. I fail to see what the big fuss is all about.

I realize that I'm going to get gate for this, but tigers are wild animals. They should grow up in natural habitats, not as a pet. The majority of people don't know how to correctly raise a tiger, or other large, wild feline, and it obviously puts a strain on them. I'm not saying that you, guy in the video, don't know how to properly care for them, but I still find it a bit cruel.

First thing I thought of was; does the pool water have any chemicals in it to keep it clean, like bleach or chlorine based items? If so that might be the major deterrent to the tiger wanting to go into the water, since it is not a natural, but repulsive, smell to most cats, big or small.
