Hello guys, this is in addition: As true Christians we shouldn't judge, as clearly stated in the bible, Matthew 7: 1 - 3. However where do we draw the line between what is true Christianity and what is perceived Christianity? I believe certain things needs to be contained so the faithful or new convert don't assume you can recite incantations and still be in right standing with Christ, just because you ended your prayers by chanting the name of Jesus. You can't worship in a shrine on Saturday and expect to genuinely enter the presence of GOD on Sunday. You can't conduct rituals or lead festival processions every-other day and expect that your leading the shout of hallelujah in church or crusade ground be regarded by the Elohim or his Christ as good, perfect and acceptable. Psalm 24: 3 - 4. Shammah is a jealous GOD. Exodus 20:3 KJV, Exodus 20:5 kjv. At this point I must also add that I commend this king, the Alayeluwa and Arole Oduduwa, for his affiliations to Christianity and his support for his wife's 'ministry'. I grew up in Lagos and my understanding of the Yoruba Language is sound. The Ooni and baba Alaafin, Oba Adeyemi, Iku Baba Yeye Alase Keji Orisa, are fathers and paramount monarchs of not just the Nigerian Yoruba lands but every Yoruba territory scattered around the world; their voices, even the voice of the Ooni resonates in the realms of the spirit. As a matter of fact, if my understanding of the Yoruba culture is anything to go by, the Ooni is regarded as one of the gods (oracle) in Ife. Ki ade pe lori! This Ooni is a dynamic, educated, progressive and prevailing king, with a spectacular spice of charisma and inter-cultural coordination I doubt any king before him has exhibited. I stand to be corrected. He has always had my genuine love and admiration. Our prayers and support are with him.
