Hi! Got to test out the Volt with a calzone cook! Plus, as I cooked at 250c this can also be cooked in a standard electric oven. 2nd attempt in this vid here! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZaUn6mBebKCZpo

I've seen pizzaiolos do a small break on the top of the calzone so the air gets outto prevent it popping anywhere else. that might work for you as well. Great looking calzone, always love to see your cooks!

Wow! This looks amazing! How do you keep your Volt and stone so clean? I made mistakes when I first got mine (had to get a hang of shuffling the pizza in) and sausage and sauce spilled onto the stone created a big mess.

Hi - thanks! I keep the glass clean with some of ‘the pink stuff’ and I keep the stone clean by turning it over after every cook and facing the debris laden stone area toward the back to the hotter part of the oven to burn off quicker! 🍕⚡️

Thank you@@Got2EatPizza for the advice! Amazingly I just bought ‘the pink stuff’ on a whim. I’ll have to try it out! Thanks again.

I've seen some italian pizza places really mash down on the edges to seal and then also cut about 3 snips in the top layer so it doesn't inflate. They also cook at a high temp.

Hi - I can see now why they do that! 😂 thanks for sharing - I got it better I think on this second cook attempt but should have cooked on a higher temp too! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZaUn6mBebKCZpo

@@Got2EatPizza The mashing down might have been for when they do the fried ones actually.
