At 38:40, you “distribute 3 +1/+1 counters.” That means you have 3 counters in total, regardless of how many creatures you target. You can dump them all on one creature, or divide it 2/1 or 1/1/1 on different creatures. This didn’t impact the game, but I thought it should be mentioned.

The replicate 3 on threefold signal is the amount of mana needed to activate it, not how many times it replicates. That being said, you can pay the replicate cost as many times as you have mana

49:37 I don’t think Risen reef dies because emerias call is still protecting it if I’m thinking correctly. Just like if they tried to target your seedborn muse it wouldn’t have worked for the same reason

Seedborn Muse was cast after the Emeria's Call, so it wasn't indestructible, but the risen reef was, you are right

Can’t believe no one has called CGB the Om-nastiest of them all. Low hanging fruit, I guess. Looking back, Locus of creation should have been an option to stand up to the awesome power of the locus of all. Sometimes the cards don’t fall the way you hope though, and CGB just out valued everyone today.

Everyone forgot that CGB’s creatures all have indestructible except for the two angels including CGB. He wasted the void rend and loses his risen reef when he could have just blocked with Atraxa to gain life and kill the omnath with deathtouch.

CGB made a misplay at 49:30, his creatures had indestructible from Emeria's Call, could've blocked the attack without dying. As a fan of Locus of All, fun game to watch nonetheless!

well, just started the episode, so I don't know yet if it will become relevant, but "replicate 3" does not copy a spell three times. it lets you pay 3 to copy it. Also "awaken the maelstrom" does not place 3 counters on 3 creatures, it distributes 3 counters among up to 3 creatures

At 22:27 CGB wouldn't be able to play the Fabled Passage and any other card exiled with Riveteer's Charm, as is says "Exile the top three cards of your library. Until your next end step, you may play those cards." He played it the turn before, being phased out with Teferi's Protection doesn't mean you don't have an end step...

Zacama and omnath and seedborn should have been GG for the table. Nobody can resolve a thing for even a second, because boom, burn it with zacama; play and artifact or enchantment, boom destroyed, end step kill everything shea has, next upkeep or end step end blakes whole career etc

Ok cool show, CGB. But as almost every time, I have to wonder again: have you (the other three) ever heard about removal? And yes, green can do that. As does red. And blue. And maybe you heard about piling up mana in a five color deck it’s frightening. And maybe it makes sense to remove dominance to have a cool game of commander. Ok I start rambling now. And while I loved watching the show as always, I think next time maybe think about that ;) synergy is nice and all, but if you don’t play enough support or enough stuff to stop your opponent from winning, you’ll likely miss to enjoy that. That’s what I am still trying to learn the hard way ;)

Elementals are my favorite tribe, and Omnath is my boi… Not sure if it’s got caught or been said, but locus of all does not require a card that has three different colors. It just asks for a card that has three mana pips… I feel like that doesn’t cost very often.

If you leave omnath, loa on the board for more than a turn or so, its always going to end up like this. Not enough removal in green/red. They had to just all three laser focus kill cgb or it was a foregone conclusion.
