it's not difficult at all to get these working, what's difficult is getting a backup of all the 'content'. There are a whole host of sites that have compatible operating system images, you'll just need to flash them to an SD card. The one thing you should try to find out is which dtb file you need, as that's usually the kicker (if at all).

It's the exact same one I got except mine was transparent purple. Same Emuelec OS and everything. I'm happy with it, I get to play my childhood games, don't really mind that it's a clone, asong as it plays the games I want, that's all I need it for.

And yes for most people purchasing the cologne will probably fit their needs however if you are more in-depth into emulation systems then you will want to tamper with things and alter the firmware and Os obviously lol

If you get one of these clones and you get it and the sd card is currupt before you can clone it witch is what happened to me you can get the os for the k36 yes the k36 emulelec 4.7 for the k36 is what will work with it and the only thing that will should make a video on how to do this as far as i know no one has

For R36S Clones running EmuELEC 4.7, backing up the memory card is incredibly simple and doesn’t require using Win32DiskImager. This is because the system ROM is already integrated into the hardware, and the memory card is solely used for storing game data. To back up, simply insert the memory card containing R36S data into your PC, press Ctrl+A to select all files, and paste them into any folder of your choice. Alternatively, you can compress the files into a single archive using WinRAR. When needed, extract the backup onto a new memory card with equal or larger capacity. It’s recommended to delete the autorun.inf and R36S.ico files before creating the backup.

Mine boots with Arkos 2.0 but I have fewer lines in the options menu, and the option menu is nowhere to be found in the main menu. No menu music either. I can save manually, and the games seems to be working fine. Its transparent purple, has 2 chips, and a legit battery, box said game master on it. Is it a clone?! :D Iam confused…every r36s video shows something different…thanks

i bought one and i received a clone too. i made a cloned the original SD (it arrived with only one 64GB ssd on the TF2 slot) but is seem to contain only the ROM (games) after half day it stopped working, and even recreating a new sd with the ISO i did doesn't boot. i tried several ISO i found online, even an ARK 2.0 for clone. this one works but i can get audio only from 3.5mm jack and not from the speaker and it seem i have some problem with the controls. with others ISO i have a stretched/cropped display, etc...i am actually using the stock 4.7 Emuelec, but again no sound coming from the speaker. can you put the clone dtp file somewhere to test if it can works for me? thx

Hi Sir, I have a question for you. I recently got an R36S, and I was wondering if it’s a copy or an original. Then I saw your video, and now I’m confused. When I turn on my R36S, it boots into ArkOS 2.0, but there’s also a red logo (God of War Logo) that appears with it. I noticed in your video that the copy version doesn’t show an ArkOS screen. Can you help me figure out if mine is original or a copy?

@Saint696Anger it 100% does it also has Majora's Mask. Also you can add games it's as easy as just downloading them from your source and unzipping them and then dropping them in the N64 folder and they are ready to play. Also every other Zelda from each system is on here

I tried resident evil on the Nintendo on mine but it wouldn't work. Not sure why they put it on there if it doesn't work? I've bought 3. Two came in the same package one in white but i think they are all cloned versions. Still worthy of 30 quid.

Normally when they put games on these systems they just copy and paste a bunch of random games and slap them on the SD card. However if you go inside your settings on whatever emulator that you're playing using the select button on the game selection screen you can choose different emulators to use by going to advanced settings and a lot of times one of the other emulators will run the game that you want to play.

@@intothesoil the easiest thing to do is just go into your OS menu and activate autosave on exit feature that way every time you leave the game it will automatically save where you left off at and when you restart the game it will start you right from that point without having to worry about save slots

@IFixShet i tried that too but I just get save state %0 and it has to be reset to make it work again. Maybe it's just that sd card I guess it couldn't hurt to try to a new one.
