You need a thicker brush. One that loads more paint and volume. Purdy 2" straight cut I recommend.

Try to do a painting from Kevin oil painting tutorial in youtube. That's more hard than bob ross ngl the livestreams there are full videos so i recommend watching them

Your trees are too perfectly " Christmas " trees, in nature you rarely see a perfectly shaped tree. There's always a limb missing or an unbalanced section on each tree
