Its pretty clear that, least for the moment, that Imogen is the unofficial leader of the Hells but Ashton really makes for a great lancer. For a barbarian, they're always the one trying to remind the group how fucked things have gotten and how careful they need to be. I know the joke is that Bells Hells is a bunch of weirdos with Orym as the one 'normal' one, but Ashton really is the dark horse candidate imo

I think you're 100% right. Orym is very supportive of Imogen, but unlikely to question her. Ashton is more willing to challenge her, but in a supportive way.

I think Orym and Imogen are both clear leaders, but Orym clearly has a new found dedication to Imogen and will treat her the same as he treated Keyleth. That being said.. idk. I don't see Ashton as stepping up. I seem him as trying. But thats about it

@@travisfulgham9998 I don't think Ashton is a Leader per se; the Lancer role has traditionally been the member of the team who challenges the Leader and the rest of the team to see things differently. Imogen says 'we killed him', a guilt that many shared. It's Ashton who challenged that narrative to point out the none of BH are responsible for the death. They are his legacy, justice and revenge.

Seriously, can't stress this enough. This is my favorite youtube channel by a VERY large margin. I got Crit Role, Markiplier, etc on my sub list but this is the only channel I still ALWAYS am excited about. The way you focus in on them and show the funny side aspects is glorious. I do have 1 kinda critique. I found this channel when I saw the video of "When Ashley rolled an 8" -- INCREDIBLE -- I wish on *some* videos you'd make them more than 20-30 minutes again. I imagine its a crap ton of work, so I get it. But that video alone got me (and surely others) to find and fall in love with you. Hopefully (on occasion) you do longer highlights. Again. Love this channel with.

i'm glad to hear that you enjoy the videos! it's always nice to hear that these are appreciated. as for longer videos, it's kind of situational i guess. with that video you mentioned in particular, that episode was kind of an outlier at the time. it was pretty long, and A LOT happened in it. that was also when i was kind of still messing around with the format and figuring out what exactly i wanted to do with these videos. i think if i made that video now, it would probably be a lot shorter. i'm glad you enjoy the longer videos, but in terms of both the time it takes me to complete these and also what i feel most people are coming here for, i think shorter videos are the better idea, at least for now. who knows what will come in the future! but i will say that the leading factor for me is just time. i have a full time job outside of these videos. longer ones just aren't really feasible at this point in time. but if an episode calls for it, maybe! again, thank you for the kind words :) i just like to try to explain my rationale sometimes

I always listen to just the audio of the videos, usually at 1.5x-2x speed and there are always little quips and asides that don't make sense without the visuals, or that are said too quietly to understand, and this channel is always the perfect followup to get every little niche reference I would have missed otherwise. Keep up the great work, and take whatever rest you need to avoid burnout. No one else does this as well as you do.

Also, there are two images that came to mind: When Chet transformed, I thought I heard Matt describe Chet's skin as being loose but still attached, so the immediate image of the blood starved beast from Bloodborne came to mind, and when Imogen was falling at the end of her dream, I envisioned the girl from the game Gris falling, and it was kind of beautiful.

Would you be making any of those checks during rests? Or, did you mean it that deficiency lasts for 3 hours after the rest, if so may I recommend half day/ sun rise, sunset/ waking/ sleep as your triggers. You don't typically see time more than one minute[ten rounds of combat] my guess is because clocks would be so inaccurate.

(Mild spoilers for C1 and C2) I mean the whole premise is faulty because Gilmore is one of a kind and Pumat is great but not even remotely the same level. (they never invested enough time to get to know Pumat well enough, They never even ate a meal with Pumat whereas we met Gilmore's parents). But if the comparison _Must_ be made then Eshteross was the obvious candidate until recently, now we don't really have one. Maaaaaybe Marwa if they go back and really invest in that relationship. But honestly I just like having each character be their own thing.
