At some point chat asked what's left to be randomized... I propose that they randomize colors and background sounds. The game is greyscale until you find the items needed to bring color back and all sound effects are disabled, including music, until you find them.

Does anyone knows which randomizer tool ZFG use for OOT? I am trying to play some randomizers but the one i found has some issues, like hookshot won't work on child for example, which is not true in ZFG runs. Thank you :)

He's used multiple randomizer tools for OoT over the years but most recently he's been using OoTMM randomizer for them (you can randomize just OoT or MM by themselves with it). As for the child hookshot thing, I'm not sure what you mean because I've never seen ZFG do that in an OoT randomizer. Are you confusing it with MM link using hookshot?
