Would love so much to have a video of you going over the deck and explain some of the main match ups. Started playing One Piece and bonney like 2 weeks ago, and the information is all over the internet. Would be amazing to have a Bonney player like you doing a video about the Match ups

Pluffy player playing curve correctly just not targeting the right cards. How does he let cavendish stick between the sanji and big mom??

That’s me😅 At that moment, I didn’t want to swing into the Cavendish when I played Sanji cause I assume he’d just give me counter(which would’ve been ok looking back on it) but I felt if I rush him down it’d be ok(it wasn’t ok). And then the 1st Mom I played, I chose Carrot cause I thought it posed a bigger threat slowing the game down by resting my characters. I realized that was the wrong choice🤦🏻‍♂️ Eric told me too. The Cavendish extends his plays plus what the point in removing Carrot that turn(again, 1st Mom) when she can’t freeze Big Mom to begin with. Plus considering how I played another Mom the following turn it would’ve been better. Live and learn😅👍

@@amielmamaril4456As annoying as the carrot can be, the cavendish is just too much value for the bonney player. Definitely a tough matchup for him pluffy.

As a Bonney main I’d like to give you some advice. There were many times throughout the video where you didn’t fully utilize having double searcher on board you could have gone +4 cards in hand many turns cause the pLuffy made a mistake to not swing at them early on . Particularly the turn you played Doffy stunned his whole board you could have searched and had no don up cause he only has leader swing so you don’t need the leader skill instead search with baby 5 and kid on board to go plus in hand

im not seeing any such turns where searching would have been better than the play i made. Do you have time stamps? Regarding doffy, if i don't play him that turn, i dont have the pressure to go for game or setup lethal. cards in hand won't help me progress the game state.

@ it was many turns but particularly the turn you played Doffy 10cto stun his entire board you left a don up for no reason cause his board was stunned better to just search and make most use of the don

Searching didn’t really matter, he drew 4 cards off of life and had kid into doffy with a cavendish established. This a dream scenario for bonney, especially since pluffy has no answers to kid. On 5 don he swings 6 after playing Cavendish so the pluffy doesn’t get a free block with kid. On 7 don he plays out a rosinante instead of double search to protect his cavendish, because w/o him he cant play kid and leader effect next turn.

@@cashews21 maximizing the searchers always matters not only do they become suto blockers the following turn but they also increase your hand size which is a big factor for Bonney obviously in this game it didn’t matter he was way ahead but in a different scenario searching comes first

@@cashews21he doesn’t need the rosi blocker on 7 don cause he played carrot stunned the sanji the pLuffy has no threatening swings after that cause he can only swing once since Bonney can rest the other swing

How comfortable are you without Hawkins? I'm super unsecure without him, since I'm ultra afraid of black Matchups :D

Hawkins isn't that great of a card. Doesn't really stick much against good players. Your plays feel a lot better without him. For black matchups, Shanks, Doffy and Hody is key. I personally like 8c Rosi.
