You might be stressing out about this being messy or not up to par but this is exactly what I needed tonight: sixteen and a half minutes of something to pop in earbuds for, turn out the lights, and just let the flicker of my screen flash through closed eyes to was away the anxiety that’s been hovering around all day. So genuinely, thank you for the restful break. Things that seem like a failure to one person are still capable of being treasured by others.

It didn't feel or sound like a disaster to me at all. I don't have your ear, or your talent, but I love what you create. Be encouraged! 👏👏👏
@Stiftoad4 жыл бұрын
This track reminded me that your music tends to have this sound thats somewhere between Nostalgia and Motivation. Looking back at our Past fondly but with a kind of sadnessv knowing youll never experience something quite like it. Though you quickly realise that feeling this way helps you push forward to create more of those memories youre fond of, even if they may be different. It could also just be that you just create absolute bangers that take you on a journey of chords and melodies with a solid rhytm which all tend to have your distinct sound.

Good to see you didn't let what you felt was a bad session stop you from putting a finished track together. I feel like I speak for most of us here that it wasn't a bad session. I normally don't ever comment on videos and just watch, but I honestly really enjoy your OP-1 videos. It's really fun to see you piece together a song and see how it works, especially with such a streamlined tool that is easy to understand for someone with little musical knowledge, but enough technical knowledge to start understanding. If it weren't for the fact the synth costed half my monthly paycheck, I'd probably have bought one already because of your videos and music. Either way, I know you said this session was a mess/trainwreck/disaster, but I think you killed it. As another creative person (a writer, someone please shoot me), I know all too well how much artists look down on their own work, but when the layman consumes it and goes "I'd never make something like this in 10 years even if I tried", which I think a lot when I see these videos, you're doing something right. I also listen to tons of music while writing for inspiration and I gotta say, your stuff hits a lot of the right spots for me.
