Unfortunately they aren't very reliable and Teenager Engineering customer service is non-existent. Google "OP-1 problems" and you'll see a legion of people left out in the cold by products that seem to degrade and fail over time, with little to any customer support to help these people. I've been waiting two months now and I've not even heard a response from TE about my problem. My OP-1 is an expensive paperweight I wish I never would have purchased.

Thank you! I find it difficult to finish-finish a track on the OP-1. I generally make loops and bring those into Ableton to work. This track, however, had more progression as I work with it in the OP-1 itself.

I looooove both. Finger is so insanely useful. I really need to try using the other pattern sequencer. I've used Endless a lot, but I used it generally for the stuff that Arp handles better now. Tambola is fun if you want to lay down some textured samples at random.

***** Pattern seems kind of tame compared to the other ones, but it has its place. I like Endless for certain things, it's fun for drums if you chart about the hits beforehand

I should mess around with Endless with DrumSynth more. DrumSynth in general is able to make some really interesting sounds, and arping them or endlessing them could be interesting.

How do you split out overdubbed tracks when you pull them into ableton??

I am careful about how I record my tracks on the OP-1, and try to keep like-minded overdubs on the same track. That way when I split things up in Ableton, if there's more than one thing on a track, hopefully it's similar enough that it will work in the mix.
