For console players doing this glitch (im on ps5) Works on a realm and normal world. Do the steps as shown in the vid up until ur about to leave the world. Hit the lever and wait for 3 seconds or so. Leave the world and wait on the title screen (not the world selection screen) for just over 2 mins or so. Load back into the world and ur items should be duped. I did this for 2 hours straight and it worked every time. Hope this helps!

honestly I'm exhausted, I've been at this for 2 hours but everytime I try it doesn't duplicate and I'm not sure why. I did watch his updated video about console players on realms but even then it doesn't work. Would you be able to give a detailed explanation as to where exactly you should put the powered rails between what axis of the meeting points? Because it seems I'm seemingly putting them on the wrong side or something.

I CAN CONFIRM, when you start the machine and turn it off, you leave and wait 3-4 minutes so it saves in realm, go back and you'll see it duped. BUT there has to be 0 players on the server!

This worked once for me and then stopped working. I've tried it quite a few times with various pieces of armor/weapons. I even tried the same bow I duped the first time and it didn't work. Weird.

Try to distance yourself as far as possible from the lever. This guarantees the chunks unload. I was initially too close to the lever

If your playing on realms you need to wait until the number of players changes from 1 to 0 after this you can enter the game and the dupe should have worked. If your playing with others then of course you need to wait until the number changes from 2 to 1 or from 3 to 2. But it is important that the other players are not near the the construction. Otherwise it won’t work.

Couldn't get it to work. Moved over 1 block either way to see if I wasn't on a chunk border but still wouldn't duplicate. Tried different items just in case. Is there an easier way to work out borders. I used a slime chunk farm as reference also.

Eventually got it to work. I wasn't in a chunk properly so now all good. Spent a full 3hr session duping netherite scrap. Gonna do wither skulls next

Yeah, I said that in the video. This works for 4 chunks sim distance which is mostly preset, since you've got 4 chunks between machine and lever. For the case that you have any other simulation distance and don't want to/can't change this setting, you have to add 32 redstone (for 6 chunks sim distance) and lower the delay of the redstone repeater to first position, because you'll need 2 extra repeaters in order to keep the signal strength up.

It works on realms for me, no one else was on the realm when I was doing this and you have to wait like 2 minutes sometimes for it to fully register that no one is on anymore, you can see the number of ppl on as 1 and it will at some point go down to 0.

It still does. I had it built wrong the first time and did it right the second time. If on realm you have to wait 2-3 mins for the server to u load the chunks and then load back in. Works every time. If you see the game saying building terrain and it takes a bit you’ll know you did it right

First of all dupe one item in the chest then save and quit this will remember your progress and load back again flick the lever few seconds then force quit the game. Again load back again check if see your item being duped. Seriously i watch it from @Itsme James channel
