It doesn’t work on honour mode so that could be why, but you’re right it still should work !

Honor mode has certain “quirks” that are disabled and is more in line with actual tabletop rules instead of some of the liberties larian added to lower difficulties

I actually like this build. I might switch Lae’zel to this on my Dark Urge run. I was originally going Eldritch Knight/Abjuration Wizard, but this is awesome for my Gloomstalker, Shadow Monk, Trickery Cleric team. Edit: the reason for me choosing Lae’zel over Minthara (who probably fits this build best because she gets a free cast of Darkness) is because I might have to kill her 😢

It’s really powerful, I’m glad I did it during my first run. I think this is better than Eldritch Knight in overall damage and crowd control. You can get darkness and a perk to see in the dark with the Warlock! Although Minthara would suit it well

Start with paladin for the heavy armor then go the next 5 levels with warlock folks, paladin takes way too long to come online

What about using Darkness vs Hunger of Hadar? It blinds and prevents ranged attacks from coming into darkness. Also works if you want to use Astarion to rob people blind

I usually go some Oathbreaker Paladin multiclass on my Dark Urge characters, and i speed run breaking my oath by cutting off Gale's hand. It breaks every oath

I‘m still undecided between 5 warlock or 5 paladin is the best combination

Higher warlock gets you more higher level spell slots but higher Paladin gets you the aura

It's a greatbuild I ran this on my first play through without knowing any tricks. Oathbreaker+the Greatsword that give Str bonus damage. Is incredible. So you get Cha+Cha+Str added to your damage with that weapon and oath breaker. Run with the Advantage always ring and Bloodlust potions with the Hill Giant Gauntlets. Feat with Greatweapon master.

I started my thrid playthrough some days ago. I want to play evil Durge and I want everyone to be a Paladin mixed with their canon Class. For my Durge I use you Storm Sorcerer Paladin build, this build here will be used on my Wyll. Lae'Zel will be Fighter Paladin and Minthara pure Paladin XD But since I do evil route, I probably wont be able to get the Sword of Chaos, any other good two handed weapons I could use?

How are you 22 CHA with no ASI? You started 17, +1 from auntie ethel, and +2 from the hat in Act 3. That should be 20, 22 if you take an ASI or am I missing something?

Mirror of loss can also give a +2 to a stat!

Nice, but I don’t think extra attack from paladin stack with pact of the blade warlock feat was patched in patch 6 recently

People keep commenting that it doesn’t work, but I tested it yesterday and it still works! Just not on honor mode. There are a lot of changes for in honor mode however

yeah that's an honor mode thing. to adapt the build to honor mode it's probably better to replace 2 levels of warlock with 2 levels of fighter for action surge

Depends, with the fiend you get fireball and wall of fire. Great old one’s frighten on crit is not super reliable since the range is small but it’s still good!
