Thank you to the singers & orchestra for reviving fond memories of an era in the 60's & 70's when I was a resident of India & enjoyed tremendous compositions by Op Nayyar. That is what I used to call, "Tonga music (horse beat)", during my school days. I was the singer of our class, an ardent fan of Shankar Jaikishan. It took some years for my musical appreciation to mature and widen. Then I realised the greatness of OP Nayyar. The number of beautiful music he created is mind boggling. One of the great musicians of India.

ओ. पी. का जो कंपोझीशन है वो बहुत ही मिठा है और उसका और एक रीझन है आशा का आवाज. साथमे इंटरल्युड पिसेस भी जो है उसमे भी फिलिंग्ज है क्यू की ओ. पी. खुद ही पिसेस बनाते थे जो एक अच्छा ब्रिज बनता था। All singers, musicians played perfect roll, great.

This Tonga song (horse beat song) was first used by Pankaj Mullick for his Doctor 1940 Bengali 1941 Hindi movie. All other music directors followed that. Same way train song too was introduced by him for same movie aai bahar aaj. Horse beat song was chale Pavan ki chaal, both the songs recorded in his own voice.
