Thought process of Cindry turn 1 vs brannew? I feel like Brannew turn 1 still allows you to play cindry next turn plus leader ability so 7-8 cards in trash vs just the 5. Curious on your thoughts.

I took a moment to ponder this last night when I was playing and my thought process was this: I already had at least one target for leader ability in hand but the rest of my hand was non-thriller bark. I wanted to fill up discard this turn to see my coming options in case i needed to pivot at a certain point. Also, my 6 don turn was looking bleak so i figured swing 7 on turn 2 and 3 would be good to discourage a potential aggro hody play from them on 7 don. I also figured being able to brannew later on would let me make a better navy choice (event probably). Now I'm not saying this play is correct or better, its just how I was processing it when I was hesitating during turn 1. I do think that playing brannew t1 and cindry t2 is probably better in the majority of cases going second though but I went for a different play to see how it panned out
