There's one more match left in this tournament: *The finals!* I have to go to work for the rest of the afternoon, so I'll post the Finals video on Monday, May 13 at 7 AM PST!

I'm pretty new to the game and your commentary helps alot. You explain the cards and combos well enough for me to understand. Hope I can see more of this in the future.

Nice commentary! You've got a good mix of game knowledge/information and reactions without cringey memes or awkward silence! Subbed hoping to see more like this 😁

amazing game. Especially seeing both BY luffy users waiting to build their decks before attacking their opponetns. Nice commentary aswell!!

Thank you!! I liked this video a lot, mostly because my last BY Luffy video was subpar commentary, imo. This was a really cool match to see!

Is there place you could point me towards for the rules of 3on3s is it like every roster has players numbered 1-3 and they just pair up or is there a decision made. Ive been watching more and more 3on3 content partially thanks to you so any additional information would be great so i can get the whole picture!
@atrocioustcg7 ай бұрын
Most of my learning is from simply watching these, for instance I learned in this tournament that you couldn’t mix same-color leaders on a team (example, no Kata + Enel, but you can do ST10 Luffy + OP01 Zoro). Teams are made of three people assigned a number, and then pairing numbers battle! I’ll try to follow up later today / tomorrow with a website or something when I get off of work 🫡

@@atrocioustcg appreciate it, i think 3on3s are such a cool format honestly and i wish it was more popular in other regions

@@orihs1x This at least is a page on the old 3v3 cup they hosted one time, I think this explains it pretty well! Obvious some things may have changed since then tho en.onepiece-cardgame.com/events/2023/3on3/

@@atrocioustcg thanks! appreciate the info, do you know by chance how many teams can play or is it uncapped?
@atrocioustcg7 ай бұрын
@@orihs1x I'm sure it's capped because venues have fire codes that limit the amount of people inside the building, but it's not as popular of a format as regular standard for sure.

Can someone explain the strategy behind not swinging with untapped characters? I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t attack when you could
@atrocioustcg6 ай бұрын
So hypothetically, lets say that I have 2 characters that I can swing with, but I have low odds to lethal. In this scenario, going into my opponent’s turn, I know he can’t hit lethal on me, so I am guaranteed at least one more turn. If I hold the characters & they can’t be KO’d via battle, I will 99.9% of the time win if I patiently wait until next turn. That forces my opponents to also use effects to clear my bodies instead of battling. That’s one reason, does that make sense?

No deck lists for the players?

The decklists weren't public the time I posted this (most still aren't), but here's the BY Luffy list from the second-place team onepiecetopdecks.com/deck-list/jp-format-eb-01-memorial-set-op-07-500-years-into-the-future-decks/deckgen/?dn=Yellow%20Black%20Luffy&date=5/12/2024&cn=JP&au=Jasmin&pl=2nd%20Place&tn=3on3&hs=Bandai(2100)&dg=1nST13-003a4nOP06-106a4nST13-007a4nST13-010a3nST13-011a4nST13-012a4nST13-013a4nST13-014a4nST13-015a4nEB01-056a3nOP07-109a4nOP04-083a4nOP06-086a4nST13-019&cs=193
