I believe you forgot to prop your choppers On Play ability with your event card or am I tripping? 🤔

08 Chopper's On Play ability can only be used during your own turn. Also, the event plays the character active, not rested.

Yeah it's only on my turn. Also whoops, totally forgot it comes in active, I'm so used to effects putting characters into play from your deck rested.

is the Zoro Animal deck the best deck? no, but does it give the Chop(per)? Yes! I'm building a proxy deck using this decklist to help teach my friends the one piece game, any other suggestions for decks (one of each colour) to proxy up to teach the game?

I think another really good deck for beginners is yellow kalgara and also decks that are hard to play such as smoker and other black decks because they can help them know certain interactions and overall have a better understanding of the game

@satorian_konst I ended up just making proxys of "meta" versions of the six OP8 (I think) starter decks that went pretty well
