Think the Lucci misplayed a lot there; the matchup is made easier by stage: felt he forgot a lot of things especially the free block by the Queen when he could’ve Kakued it

I think getting the queen to block was intentional, so then he could KO it in battle, hence why he swung 9 at it with Character Lucci. That way he could use Kaku to take out another character

Im pretty new to TCG but theres no way they would change black maria for english release and make it leader locked eh? to give it a bit of a nerf for us.

They wouldn't print specific text on the card to leader-lock it, but there's a possibility that they could announce an errata for it. 99% of the time it's because the translation was printed wrong, but once in a blue moon they could issue a more heavy change like leader-locking. It won't happen in English first, Japan & the East will make a ruling first & then the West will follow a little later.

@9:52 couldn’t the Lucci have done this a differnt way; spandam first, then hit the event to draw and minus to the Kid blocker; making it 2 since he would’ve been at 10 in trash then; then Rob Lucci kid blocker and raise max; swing into Sacchi and penguin with the other Rob Lucci then swung with leader? Maybe I was reading trash wrong and he had to do that out of order; but that seems more logical of a path there

@12:50; he swings leader first; that’s a free block with queen why not make first? That seems wrong

I think he has to swing Leader before using the event. 6 in trash to start turn, trash 2 off Leader, then trash at least 2 off Spandam. Yes, he trashed 3, but I think you lead in with the assumption that he grabs something off of Spandam. So before he does anything, if he doesn’t swing lead he’s likely set at 8 in trash after the event.

Last turn from RP Law was super risky. He could have also removed the whole board and established a blocker with the opponent having no cards in hands, so no chance he loses next turn…

I do agree that the play was risky, but I think he was in a pretty good spot since Lucci had one in hand & the leader effect can play rush zoro

@@atrocioustcg It was guaranteed. Even if every card was a 2k, there was no way for Lucci to counter out of every attack, regardless of how he countered due to him having zoro in hand. The only triggers that Lucci runs is K.O. a 3 cost, so that wouldn't have done anything either since zoro would only be played when Lucci was already at 0 life
