Because of the Player .. maybe The build .. but Perona CAN handle Law... Its one of the Harder r matchups for Law... Yes he is stronger and favored...but this Joke of a Game is Not worth Perona. She really can do better

I agree, my gut reaction says to pop the Maria, but maybe in their testing that blocker is better overall. I’d love to see how both play out across a whole game

@@atrocioustcg Imo they should have gone for Maria. I don't think the blocker is that much of a threat. Maria prevents law from getting choked out of resources midgame.

Each set, another issue of laws deck gets fixed. Hand size gets low? Heres reiju. Ur down on don? Heres black maria. U want to remove multiple cards in one turn? Heres rayleigh. Law is essentially a 3 color leader too, power manipulation (red) don manipulation (purple) and bottom decking (blue), something has to be done, u cant ban sakazuki and let law run rampant.

I do agree that Law is pretty stinkin’ powerful, but I’m also on the side that the height of Saka was more consistent. I wouldn’t mind a specific card being booted from format to nerf Law, but idk which I’d do in all honesty

@@atrocioustcg thing is, u cant really justify banning a card aside of maybe gordon because raise max exists, the cards on their own arent all that good for the most part, theyre just really good in law, but at the same time because law exists, u cant really justify playing any other red or purple leader, especially reiju. The problem, is not locking cards; reiju shouldve been locked to germa, black maria to animal kingdom, sanji to strawhat, It dampens law. its pretty abysmal that a leader that was meant to be low on don but with a full board can now play an 8 cost, ko a card, bottom deck another, play a 6 cost for 3 dons returned just to draw 5 don again and stay on level field with the opponent.

Perona is imo a 50/50 matchup .. i really clap some laws with my shootey Brook ,Age ,Bone Build . Without Doofy stuff... This perona player is BAD So many wrong descisions ... Why he is so far in this Tournament

As a law player since op04.5. Op08 law is def a bannable deck at this point. i hate to say it as ive been a diehard fan of the deck since the beginning but the deck is just an unhealthy influence on the meta. Hopefully they dont ban the leader but the cards within

But thry could do the same with Saka and did not. They seem to get 1 deck on scope, give everything for 6 months then ban leader. Law has way too many pieces right now that were supposed to be for other leaders. Banning the cards wont change anything. It will just ruin other decks. He will naturally be favored by any 4c red/purple card that is not leader locked.
