I believe 6k>8k is better than 7k>7k since it wins against 1k in hand, 2k in life. Double 7 wins (comparatively to 6k>8k) only against 2k in hand, brick in life, which feels less likely (should check trash, I guess). On all other scenarios, the outcome is the same between the 2 attack sequences.
