Dude at a locals I hit the shigan trigger and guy said burgess cannot die to it I thought out of trigger it would

Yeah shigan out of trigger fortunately/unfortunately (depending on if you're activating the trigger 😂) cannot kill JB out of life unless he's be nullified. In the mirror match up in the video, luckily, we nullified him the turn before with 10c Blackbeard activate main which lasts until the end of the opponents turn. Is shanks really a bad matchup for us? I feel very comfortable playing against it

So I listened in on ClydeTCG's video on the topic (#1 player in NA) and he mentions that Shanks has the ability answer 10c BB which makes the match up rough and if they tech in Marco/Ace their board is really sticky. Overall it's such a versatile deck. I think at the top levels of play it's tough, but at my mid gameplay it doesn't feel terrible 🥲- ALTO

I have a hard time against red/purple Luffy at least with my friends build his run 10 cost rush shanks that minus everything by 1k and other rush cards

Totally agree! If RP Luffy ramps up correctly, things can get out of hand real quick lol and 10c Shanks makes things super awkward for 10c Blackbeard. -ALTO

Doffy player messed up big time should have just went for board and swung over burgess or 7 7 split it.

Yeah as soon as they attached don to the non-attacking Moria the tempo swung in my favor. I got pretty lucky that match overall 😅but was still really fun an learned a lot! - ALTO

Oh absolutely!! There aren't as many Belo Betty mains in the sim, but when they do show up it's catastrophic lol. Luckily I have one at my locals so I get a decent amount of practice in the match-up. - ALTO
