@ exactly. That’s why you shoulda poked with Luffy first instead of searching with law, you telegraphed that you weren’t going for game that turn and made it easier for him to read that. That’s all

Going first is key with p luffy against shanks

you have to outpace shanks ASAP. Pluffy beats the rush variant HARD but the control variant is iffy and depends on whether they manage to get their lucky roux out.
