I’ve tried both, both pretty good! Lots of room to build shanks to your own personal preference. 👊 really cool leader lots of flexible slots. Think I prefer shuraiya to baccarat currently but both very valid :)

rayleigh at 2 is where ive settled. i also have been teching 2 shuraiya in place of the other rayleigh and love it.

I loved shuraiya when I was first playing shanks. Haven’t used him in a while the cards definitely good tho

I agree blocker silvers is bad in shanks. Yassop is so much better. As for red hawk, maybe a 2 of? It is either detrimental or mildly useful based on matchup. Secret shanks is decent and 7beard is strong. Outlook 3 is pretty solid “removal” since it reduces 2 characters by 2k for 2 don while having counter power. If you want a blocker to replace silvers go with shuraiya since early 8k+ leader swings can be denied for a 1k counter before they snowball. Shuraiya forces your opponent to commit to the board while leader forces them to stack on lead leaving them in a bind.

Yeah I do enjoy shuraiya quite a lot. Love shanks there’s so many different techs to mess around with 👊 thanks for the thoughts, I’ll try outlook 3rd 👍

For what it's worth, I've been using Rayleigh as a way to draw more cards, as red doesn't have much draw power. Shuraiya seems interesting, also because I've found that Shanks doesn't have many 3 don plays, I'll have to try it.

Red hawk is a bait card. Its to inconsistent and dolfy can just put don on a character and it does nothing.

It’s good on that first turn (2/3 don) when you can use it on their first character. Quite underwhelming after that tho, tempted to try some guard points

Also if they play a 6K base body like Weevil or Boa it also does nothing
