Something I very much like to see. Lucky save, but he made it. I think it's great to be able to take your beloved car to such an incredible place to open it right up, instead of out on the public roads. The thing is that I don't think the cars are insured out on the circuit, it being private, not public highway. So if he'd have crashed, it would've had to come out of his pocket...

Christoph Teichmann I thought it was and is a private racing circuit, that you have to pay money to drive around. It's not like Le Mans where when they do the race, they shut off the local public highway because it makes the circuit. The Nurburgring is totally private.

Julian Neale yes. You have to pay but it is still a public road during tourist events. Tourist events are no track days. Thats why overtaking is only allowed on the left.
