Opel Rekord of 1969. Beautiful car with latest design of that era! I remember seeing the 4 door sadan cars of this same model in the early 1970's here in Sri Lanka where I live. At that time when I was a kid my dad had an Opel Rekord Olympia 1959 model. Good memories.

Einfach schön ! Ich hatte in den 80er- 90er einen Kadett C , mit neuen Kontakten u neuen Zündkerzen , in der Stadt : 7 Liter ! - noch dazu , ein guter Kofferraum, gute Federung u günstige Ersatzteile

Very nice memory. I do same than you.... because opel belong to my grandfather. Its mine after year 2002. Opel is original but new paint 2003.

@@Opelrekordc I'am born at 1969, I was 6, 7 or 8 years old in the middle of the 70's and my fathers car was build in 1970 exactly... He had buyed this Opel in 1975... Our longest trip with this car was from Stuttgart in Germany to Ankara in Turkey, thats over 2850km for one way....

Hello. Oh, what a surprise. I had a similar Opel in the 1970s but with a 1700 cubic engine. A lot of good memories come to mind when I watch the presentation. Maybe I could get that beautiful handsome car if I could find one like it well restored.

@@eedwart Car belong to my grandfather 1969-89....When he dead, I own car now. Its original, but painted 2003 original color "creamwhite". Almost crome are original, tyres and wheels are 14". Inside is original but roof painted 2003. New engine 2020 1900 CIH.
