My father bought a similar Rekord in 1959. All black with a gray interior. Most reliable vehicle "der Zuverlässiger"!

Viele liebe Grüße aus Saarbrücken. The car remembers me to my childhood.When I was one year old,my parents bought an P1 as used car. It was their first own car.Up to today I remember many details in this Opel. The rear Windows, the clock to pull up by hand, the flowercup and the sound,and and and...... Lovely Video. Ich kenne von dem Fahrzeug nur noch die Werkstattbücher, da ich bei einem Opel Händler gelernt habe. Den ältesten Rekord in der Werkstatt war ein Rekord C.

I like to watch these kinds of resuscitation attempts. I was pleased that you managed to bring it back to life. I don't think the engine runs too badly at all. I would be happy for a followup video. It would be great to see the Rekord back on the streets 🙂 greetings to norway and much success !! .....and don't listen to people who think they know everything better ;-)
