I found an interest in physical/mechanical puzzles after I went to a real escape room for the first time with some friends. I was reluctant to go to the escape room because I thought it would be a waste of time but after doing a few rooms I found that the mystery of each room was intriguing and eventually it was addicting. At this point I would still rather solve and admire puzzles than go to an escape room but I'll never forget where my interest came from. So anyway, I think it's pretty cool that other puzzles designers are making escape rooms in physical puzzle form.

Which one was harder, Quest Pyramid or Space box?

@@Puzzleguy Space Box was harder. I got stuck on on #2 on the Pyramid same as you, it's great when you realise what that symbol means and after that it was quite quick to solve. The Space Box has some really nice puzzles but one of them can be tricky (I won't say any more) so had to take a hint. The tolerances are also very tight on My box so sometimes you have the right answer but the sliders might be 1mm off so you need to jiggle them a little. Definitely worth buying though. If you haven't tried them, the boxes from IDVenture, Davey Jones' Locker ans Schoedingers Cat are also worth looking at.

I'm always trying to cheat and it is possible in Quest Pyramid, but it takes more time than to solve the puzzle 😁

Ive solved it by putting pressure upwards on the key, and for the sliders by feel as putting pressure on the top as well. And i guess it ruins the fun of the game and learned the rest of the symbols here 😅

How did you use the wheel again... That made no sense?

Rotate the wheel and look at 8 circle holes. The number of holes you can see through corresponds to the number of corners of shapes surrounding the symbols you found on top of the pyramid. And the symbols that appear in the small square cutout are the symbols you have to put in a corresponding slider. I hope it makes sense 😁

When I got mine the number sliders don't move at all, they are rigid. I found the wavy line (first step) and it pushed out the other piece of wood. But after watching your video, your number sliders move, why aren't mine moving? Am I missing something? I can't see that you have done anything more than I have and yet your number sliders move.

@@Puzzleguy No, straight from the box all four have been rock solid. I have got as far as the first move, then I cannot go any further forward. I think it may be faulty. My son is 6 foot 4, so it's not a question of strength!!! haha.

@@Puzzleguy Worse kind of flat and hollow, like bottom of a trash can or something. It sometimes shows up in other videos from a few days ago. I went and checked a few but this one it is just particularly bad. I'm not sure what's going on but testing 2 different sets of speakers on my end, had no effect.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm using the same mic for a long time. 3-4 weeks ago I started to remove the black spongy cover of the mic, since shiny metal mic looks better on my shirt.
