I've owned emerald physics with this concept. I don't like how it's dipole up to around 1 kilohertz and then monopole up from there. Now I own Clayton Shaw's M3 turbo spatial audio speaker. I have switched out the Twitter with a 4-in tang band driver and is completely dipole now and sounds much more natural.

Please clarify. If a 2 way 10 inch open baffle can sound that bassy it is pretty remarkable. However I suspect it is a 3 way with 10 inch COAX (open at back of tweeter) and an 18 inch LF / Woofer. Either way sounds amazing. Are these drivers available in Europe / UK too?

Ok, I’m intrigued. I’m building my first set of speakers and I also picked up some Paradigm Titan v3 speakers the other day. Hard to say if they’re better than my DCM Time Windows…but I haven’t plugged them back in. 😁 So let’s say I wanted to make these speakers to really blow my hair back. Where would I find the plans? Also, you mentioned in another video that you can make these and use Dayton speakers to see if you like the style. Which ones? I love clear, transparent sound with tight, quick bass, so I’m pretty sure I’d love these. My living room might get a little tight, but I can work with that. Also, would there be any value in bi-amping these? Not sure what the efficiency is on these, but I’m fairly certain it will take a little something to drive them. Anyway, thanks…I’ve already got the wood for these. Reclaimed old-growth redwood…it would look amazing.
