I do not like the idea of them putting bots into new players ranked games, even if it's supposedly just the first few games. It's a very slippery slope. It also doesn't show the new players what to actually expect in an actual ranked game. If they aren't comfortable enough to play with actual players, they shouldn't be playing ranked. Period. Add some sort of requirements to queue ranked like they have in Smite 1.

@@allste626it’s interesting. Other games haver done it only at the absolute bottom of their player pool for player retention. No human can be worse then bots is the mindset, and most the time it is actually successful for player retention. It is def very interesting. I’m a trial and error type of person but I think I lean more towards your opinion,

@@funwalkthroughs1285 They need to just slap a level requirement to queue ranked (and maybe having a certain amount of gods at rank 5 or 10 like they used to in SMITE 1) so people are ready when they enter ranked. Why let them enter at level 1 if you need to add bots to their games because they aren't ready for what they queued for? I just doesn't make sense.

​@allste626 That's what they're doing. You have to be level 5 to play ranked. Also, I don't remember them saying anything about bots being in ranked matches. I was under the impression that it would only be in casual matches.

After playing 5 or so matches on beta patch, snowballing is crazy right now. All 5 games I played today my jungler or the opposing jungler was level 20 before the rest of the team by a mile. The amount of camps in the new conquest map is very overwhelming currently and its very hard to both lane and maintain priority on camps at the same time.

Junglers are always under leveled in smite 2 for me, because it's super hard to get enough gold and exp. So they buffed jungle camp respawns and such then?

tehy should add back god victory animations but instead of having tehm as a solo screen it should be one screen right after titan death animation where all five gods on you team do they short win animation standing next to each ohter in a line

any idea when rank joust and duel would happen? or they really plan to just keep conquest? that would suck conquest its just not fun the matchmaking its so bad... hopefully all this changes makes it better but where its the change they say theyll have people queque also by ranks of roles? i remember seen somewhere they try put in same lobby like someone has experience or high skill with jg instead someone who never play jg role even if they lower mmr etc etc

They plan to add leaderboards to Joust or maybe an opt-in ranking system within the same queue, but not full on ranked joust in a separate queue.

I still don't think SunBeam is dead, it's obviously worse but maybe goes from S tier to A tier; it's still an insane 1.4x dmg multiplier for all AA gods

It’s not dead just not a must build anymore because of the much needed nerfs and so many buffs to other adc items like quins plus dom coming back makes it hard to fit in now with all builds

i hope they will make the xess work with FSR FG. I dont want to use FSR when Xess is just so much better. But the games forces me to use FSR for FG why. marvel rivals allowed me to use Xess with FG. AMD build FG to work with other upscaling.

Game optimization is so bad, my A750 struggles even on low-middle settings 60-70 fps that drops into 20-30

I still think Ranked should be locked behind the commendations system. If people think you're nice you can get into ranked, if they think you're toxic then you get locked out of Ranked. Would be a good way to keep people from being absolutely toxic in ranked AND casualz

⁠@@Fatal_Kost You need to build Amantia Charm if you’re playing support or tank it heals for more than what med did and I don’t think they’re adding it back as they are trying to stay away from adding so many relics. That being said the lane is too small for 5v5 assault and there are some bugs but it’s only temporary until they make a new map but with how well they made the new joust map I wouldn’t be too worried about the future for assault in Smite 2.

Free to play opinion: the recently added gods, and their ascendant pass is waaay too expensive. I mean... 900 Diamonds?? Its barely possible to get them with f2p grind. C'mon... Keep in mind 900 diamonds is the same price as 450 gems which is cheaper than the vast majority of skins in smite 1. You also get 450 diamonds from the pass itself so they only cost 450 diamonds really

no offend but locking hero/gods behind paywall / long grind is super outdated design and not gonna work. all new games nowadays like Deadlock or Marvel Rivals unlock all hero right at begin for all players and it's free to play. it's not 2009 anymore to sell hero lmao, dota 2 also free all hero they can make money by selling skins and BATTLE PASS....... many games already mass success by this way. it's not the price, it's the monetization method. people buy Battle pass that often. but in order for them to pay battle pass, you must FIRST ATTRACT CUSTOMER GET INTO YOUR GAME FIRST, not push the "locked god" into their face at begin. I bought Founder but all of my friends laughed hard and said "it's 2025 and they still sell god? omg" then they joined Marvel Rivals, idk they can pay 70$ for COD each year but founder just ain't it.

The only I thing I’d request of hi Rez is to do what marvel rivals did with their ranked scene where console plays against console and pc vs pc. I think the advantage pc players have over console especially in smite can be very oppressive and I’d like to see a cross play turn off option especially if the game pops off in numbers. Casual crossplay is fun but being in top lobbies having to go against mouse and keyboard felt awful in smite 1.

PC has no advantage over console, frames mean nothing and using a controller is pretty easy for smite.

Matchmaking already takes this advantage into account when making lobbies. Console players will be matched with PC players of equal skill to them.

@FluxCrush 4060 with a ryzen 7 7700. Did something to permanently ruin textures across every game I play, and it happened with my 1660ti and i7 setup, too
