Open Canoes & kayaks on the Lower Meadow River, WV - Raw Video 1999

October 1, 1999 - The Meadow was running at a low but passable level. Jim "Gawd" Michaud showed a few of us first timers down the river. There were a couple of minor mishaps, but nothing serious. Still, that's a very busy river with serious consequences. So, I didn't video as much as I would have liked. That would require a return trip.

Some cool looking whitewater and some interesting OC1 boating. Couldn't make it out, but red OC1 claimed he was demonstrating the "Fraizer Move"???

The river flows under rocks that are sitting on other rocks that water flows under and those rocks are resting on giant turtles that move around!
