This is how my grandfather used to do it years ago. He had an old half hood grill that he added a front cover from sheet metal to.

This was a fantastic video just relaxing and a couple of drinks and some wood burning.

Thank you for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed my video. I try to make my videos as if the viewer is there with me. I enjoy what I do.

I’ve been wanting to use that to make some al pastor meat. That bird came out 🔥

Great Video. Rotisserie on the weber is how I do my whole chickens. I have had great success with the lid on but I always make sure I brine it overnight. You can push it further that way without drying it out.

Thank you for watching! I honestly can watch the chicken turn, lol. I love the Weber rotisserie. I left the lid off so the wood could remain lit. I wanted to cook with fire!

Looks great! Whole chickens can be tricky! Wonder if cooking with lid would yield different results? 🤔

Cooking with the lid does, but I didn't want to cook with the lid on as it would put out my fire. I wanted to cook with fire. Lid on or off works great.

Which is better hanging the chicken in the drum or this webber method?

I love both. I honestly can't say which. That's how much I enjoy using both methods.
