Usually i agree with boxbox when he explains his plays, but selling the yasuo was for sure not worth. He had 1 gold and sold the yas to roll once having 0 gold. It didn't really achieve much and didn't save hp. Maybe if that yasuo made him 10 gold i would agree, but that seemed like a gamble he didn't have to make. He obv couldn't know he would hit qiyana, but that 1 gold unit sitting on bench didn't cost a lot, but rolling for it later could take like 30 gold by itself.

The nature if the game is so aggressive and volatile at stage 4, especially in high elo lobbies. units he needs for his comp could already be gone/rare by 4-2. Yasuo is typically uncontested and lots of them in the pool. IMO him selling yasuo for a shot at a game changing heavily contested unit was worth enough to justify.

@@moseslytle9943 he had like two ksantes in his bench that he could sell instead of the yasuo. you already have 2 spats and 9 td is possible, so why are we still holding sentinel units especially a 1 cost sentinel unit? if he hadnt hit that qiyana, theres a possibility that theres a qiyana at carousel and with ywf, its easy 9 td at 8.

Didnt he explain in the vid that it was because he was holding a cloak that makes him the d claw? He said he would have kept if yas didnt have the item. You could def argue maybe the cloak shouldnt have been on yas in the first place but selling him there makes sense to me too.

@@Joszef200 it's pretty interesting the public perception on this. All he says is that the game has a balance of RNG and skill expression, and this patch is unbalanced favoring RNG. He dislikes the gamba playstyle so he tries to play flex into best board, but because of the META, he loses a lot, which naturally tilts him. He isn't even "toxic" so IDK what you mean by that lol.

This patch is in a really bad state, partly due to the holidays and no balance changes, but normally you see box box complain more at the end of a set. The meta has been solved to a point where it becomes a played game and more of a gamble. Some sets were definitely worse than others, like set 6 and 4, but this is just a trend with this game. Thankfully it is regularly maintained so that the meta develops

this set is litteraly going 8 after wolf and roll down for the right headliner that fit ur build. If you dont hit, you're fucked, if you hit like a decent disco comp, you will get fucked later by those ahri sentinel or caitlyn sentinel/true dmg board which is worth 25% less than ur board. The only 2 things skill gap give is a little bit more gold and hp which is way worse than a spat and some more choices for 4 cost headliners.

Regarding the meta for top players its such a small % off the total players I wonder if they need to balance just for those players meta and needs to be fun and exiting for all. Will say that grieving units i am not a fan of maybe just not count other player benches and shops.

I agree that this game was messy, but it exemplifies exactly what he stated. The game is won, pretty much on the spot, by hitting the top meta comp. The only real mistake was selling the yasuo, but please tell us what all the mistakes were by the challenger player
