They have monopoly of wealth, they have resources but the few educated rich ones uses the poor to illegally extract resources. People with such low level iQ are easy to weaponize. While other regions and tribe strive to become rich, most Northerners just love being poor. I'm not saying everyone must aspire for wealth but if they had their own country they can just do with it what ever they want. Most of them can't use banks, schools, hospitals or even own an ordinary NIN, tell me how most of these institutions would survive if we have only northerners in Nigeria? Now in this era, they representatives are shamelessly opposing the bill to ban open grazing in Nigeria, making excuses on how most of the Fulani doesn't have assess to schools, drinking water and good roads, can you force people to go to school? If it was about cows why are they grabbing peoples land and settling there instead of protecting their cows. These regulations are what we expect the senate or any the authorities to formulate. It would be discriminatory if, for example, the spare parts dealer source his warehouse and land to establish his own business where land is given to other sectors freely. With the will, this is a simple issue. We already have laws against gun ownership (but herders are ignored), we have laws against killing (but herders are ignored), we already have laws against destruction of properties which include farms (but herders are excluded). This is mainly a bill around how (vehicles or walking on roads) one transports their cows. It is not about restricting movement or whatever flimsy arguments are thrown up. It’s their business, ranch and sell near, milk, excrement etc to pay for your upkeep and business. Simple.

For the 20yrs + that I have visited many foreign western world I have only seen cows & horses in the ranches on outside & far from the cities highways well fenced. And to transport them herder would have to use the same type of metal built buses like the same one used to transport prisioners to transport cows to any destination.
