In the first episode of season 10, Open Gym takes you behind the scenes as the Toronto Raptors' front office decides what to do with the 4th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Draft workouts and player interviews ensue, with the team selecting Scottie Barnes in the first round and Toronto-born Dalano Banton, and David Johnson in round two. Barnes celebrates his birthday as he and Banton converge in Toronto for a tour of the city, and are welcomed with open arms.

That reaction from Masai was pure because Scottie's reaction was pure. Masai knows, he talks about it, that players often don't know how world class the Raps org is. That the Raps don't get the respect they deserve. Masai is an intense guy.. Scottie matches that intensity. Masai is smiling like he struck gold. In Masai we trust.

Gotta hand it to the front office. Suggs might have more of a fast start to his career but within a few seasons i can see Scottie using those genetic gifts he has been blessed with and his positive attitude towards people and life in general to become one of the best players in the league. It's a gamble for sure but draft experts who work for the media are often wrong
