My daughter is not a cardiac baby, but she’s a kidney failure and transplant patient, and it has been a long journey a lot of ups and downs, fears and tears, thank you for sharing your lives with us, this is the kind of content I like to watch, not everything is rainbows and butterflies in life but God gives us as parents the strength to go through all of this, and at the end seeing our kids well and healthy is all that matters, God bless your beautiful family 🙏🏻❤️

Callie and Kinsley need their own farm, family, animal, garden channel. At the age of 7,she does very well with the camera. They so help with chore’s and are not afraid of dirt. I as an adult hate getting dirty. I think they could encourage other children with good family fun. I will sign up and watch them inspire other’s. Cassidy and her strawberries, too cute. Great job mom and dad & grandparents too. They look up to you all.

Love seeing the family gardening together! So happy to hear that Cassidy is doing so well. My daughter was born with HLHS and a coarctation of Aorta and has had 3 open heart surgeries. Definitely, not an easy thing to watch your child go through, the fear and stress is real. However, watching your child come out on the other side doing so much better is worth it. I have a condition called dilated cardiomyopathy & heart failure. I was 50 years old when mine was diagnosed. It is a lot for young kiddies to cope with and adults. I take comfort in listening to other peoples stories..

I’m a grandmother. We have been blessed with healthy granddaughters. But now granddaughters are starting to have baby’s. ( first one do in January) so watching your videos helps me to be prepared if something was to happen. I did work hospital and was an EMT(emergency medical technician) for 23 yrs. Thanks for taking us along on Cassidy’s appointment. It was amazing to see how tall she is versus the height of the exam table! Praise be to God that her condition is stable and not backsliding. That in itself is progress. She’s exactly where God wants her to be right now. Her immune system will have all the more strength because you’ve got her outside in the dirt and exploring her world. I have many challenges at nearly 60 years old because my parents did the exact opposite when I was little in the 60’s (I have severe lung issues). I love how Kinsley took us on a tour of your garden! She may not know everything yet but she is so involved and wants to make sure all is in line. She will be a wonderful wife and mother some day. ☺️ To all the cardiac parents out there: keep praying up your child to God and take things one day at a time. Know that He is in control of all. Love your child and treasure each moment! 🙏🏻

You guys have such a lovely family; The girls are adorable. It's nice that you can raise them with that farm experience, plants and animals. You guys are just blessed.. I'm glad for Cassidy's progress. Growing up with my brother having heart problems from holes in his heart, to open heart surgeries, and many other procedures done, artificial valves and a pacemaker/defibrillator installed , I know all the emotions our family went through in our lives and he is now 50 yrs old and thank God still alive and able to function normally. God is good to all people. He definitely listens to all prayers. You guys enjoy your family and life. Wish you lots of good health and happiness.

I have two girls born via IVF - my youngest who just turned one in April was born with an undiagnosed CHD at birth (HRHS), I remember watching your videos during my pregnancy wondering how a mama could go through something so heavy with such strength. My Parker had two catheterizations at birth (rushed out of province 2 days post birth) and will be going in for open heart surgery in a month. Your story of infertility and a CHD baby is inspiring and I am so thankful for you guys! I've been watching you for years and I really appreciate your vulnerability with us all!

Cassidy, is so cute. It made me smile when she started singing in the truck. It's nice to see your girls helping you in the garden, and not just seeing them in front of a tv or on a computer. Not saying there anything wrong with kids looking at tv or playing on a computer. But it reminds me of my childhood helping in the garden at my grandmother's farm. This is the first year for me to do a little garden. I have to say it relaxes me to go out in the morning and water it, and take care of it. This is funny, 😆 I find myself taking a cup of coffee and my planner for the day out there in the garden and sitting there relaxing and doing my prayer time out there. I have to thank you Alex, and Phil for that. U guys have picked me up a lot this past year because I was going through a lot, with my husband's being deployed and feel like I was in life all alone. I had open heart surgery in 2019 and my grandson had 2. One at 2 days old and 1 1/2 years old. I know this way to much. My grandson had TAVR, I had a aortic aurysum and bad valve and root. Now my middle son has the same thing I had. God is so good. Cassidy looks like her daddy. I pray my son will do great if and when he has surgery. I am getting a CT with contrast for a follow up on the 21st. I pray all is ok too. Love your family.

I’m so glad I found your channel. My baby was unexpectedly born with transposition of the great arteries and has been in CICU for the past few months since she’s been born. We’re waiting for her surgery (she will need 2 before discharge) and hopeful it will happen next week. She has had numerous obstacles keeping her from surgery. The latest was a blood infection she’s being treated for. Your channel has brought me a lot of comfort while we’ve been here living in the hospital. Thank you and thank the Lord your little one is doing well. 😊

I started following you for your infertility journey. It gave me hope as we went through ours. With IVF we were give beautiful twins. I continue follow you as one of our twins is also a heart warrior. She’s two years old, and thriving after her ohs. We had our heart appointment follow up today, and we are cleared for another year! Also told we have to keep giving bp meds for at least another year. Your vlogs have given me so much hope through the past few years. It amazes me how in line out stories have been.

One of my childhood friend was the first baby ( Boston mass has some great cardiac surgeons at mass general. Plus mass general dies surgery does mass residents for free) to survive triple hole open heart surgery in Boston,ma.She was my bestest Jr high school friend I am so glad cassidy is doing well.... My friend suffered from anxiety in her teens .She did very well..married had children is still doing fine.I've Vern wanting to share a feel good story....I never was blessed enough to have my own. Cassidy looked like the typical little farm girl at the hospital. Well she’s definitely thriving and the meds are working so there’s a lot to be thankful for. She’s got Philips features and your hair and seems a really happy child who you let roam and don’t wrap her in cotton wool. The other two girls are growing up too fast and both smart and helpful.

Way to go Cassidy ! Great check up ..I have a 40 yr old son that was born with a VSD basically a hole inbetween his ventricles ..and also some anomalies in the way his heart is plumbed ..he had open heart surgery at 5 months and it wasn’t until he was in his 20’s he had to get a pacemaker …he is a husband and a dad ..he’s on his 3 rd pacemaker because of atrial fib treatments (ablation) but he is doing very well ..he’s on lots of meds ..but he’s still here and he gave me two beautiful grandsons and an amazing daughter in law …miracles do happen ! All through his life we never knew the twists and turns his health would have but we always trusted God! And we still don’t know but we still keep trusting! Your story is so encouraging and I love watching you and how you’re taking things as they come ..with your life and your homestead ..just keep trusting ..God is so do good! ❤️

I'm just so impressed at how well Cassidy is doing! Just keep doing her follow ups and if she has to be on meds, it's ok. I've been on beta blockers for 25 years, not a big deal! I am glad it's there to help keep me in check. I had the coarct surgery at age 9. I am now 50! Yes, FIFTY! So heart mamas, there IS life after heart surgery(ies)! I am doing well, but I DID just find out I have all the Marfans genes, so my journey is NOT over. I have to find out more when I do my yearly cardiology checkup in 6 weeks. I am now having the bad eye issues associated with Marfans, so that's been an ordeal. I knew something weird was going on, but had no idea what was causing the weird stuff going on with my body. I basically wanted to tell you that I prayed like crazy when Cassidy was having her surgery and her entire time in the hospital and you bringing her home. Every time I see her running around just being a normal kid makes me smile!

Yeah I have heart disease. I found at when I was 17 . I had a Sudden death during a heart catheterization. But God was with me. I'm still living today with Prayers.

❤️❤️❤️❤️ Please for cassidys sake, even if things are perfect and seem “normal” keep up with drs etc. I was born without an inferior vena Cana (IVC), had a failed right kidney auto transplant because of this. After it was removed I didn’t have any more problems. Even with circulation (I have collateral circulation). Fast forward to now. Almost 40 and starting to have problems. Because I was never “checked up on” for these things it’s been VERY hard getting help and drs I need. I did have my surgery at Cleveland Clinic (1983), even though I am in Canada. So even harder to find original documentation for myself! Love you guys!

My firstborn son was born with TGA( Transposition of the Great Arteries) heart disease, and had open heart surgery at a month old. He has mild regurgitation too. He's now 23, and he lives with it just fine. No heart meds. They keep checking him every year for any changes.
