Maria Thattil has already achieved more than most. In 2020, she was crowned Miss Universe Australia and has gone on to publish her first book, Unbounded. She is an award-winning TedX speaker, a regular columnist for several outlets, including 9Honey, and is an avid campaigner for diversity, gender equality and LGBTQIA+ rights. But it was another dream come true when Thattil bought her first home in Melbourne, thanks to advice from her late grandmother.

The sofa is extremely boring it would’ve been nice to see a light to medium Carmel colored curved back sofa in velvet, teddy, boucle, or leather to play off the curve in the dining chairs. Choosing a carmel/light brown sofa would’ve made the art (above the sofa) & dining chairs more cohesive. Having three diff shades of brown would’ve been yummy bc the current sofa is like blah it blends too much into the wall. The room doesn’t have enough dimension. The dining room set is nice. But the bar stools are bland & look uncomfortable. You can do a cane back bar stool or olive ones that are linen, velvet or boucle that has a curved back. After all that u can work on upgrading your bedroom starting with that headboard.
