Hi nanga, if you are able to fill the forms online and arrange all your docs by yourself, the canadian visa process is transparent and I do not recommend you to go to a consultant. I know that IDP provides free consultations but only for the student. However it’s better to apply alone. The partner of the student is eligible for an open work permit and you can apply for that when you lodge for the student visa/or even later. ❤️

For the course Business Analytics (which I believe you are studying) do you think it would be difficult for someone who have no previous experience in programming and other IT aspects to study the course? Can you suggest any areas you think will be useful to study beforehand when coming to this particular course?

Hi Chan, thank you so so much for the support ❤I am doing Business Analysis. www.mohawkcollege.ca/programs/graduate-studies/business-analysis-334 It is always advantageous if you learn the coding basics. For my first semester coming from a Software Engineering background was quite helpful. I believe the second semester would be even more difficult. You can check the modules from the “program of studies” tab of the link I shared

In course eligibility criteria they have included degree in business mgt as well. In your personal knowledge will this pose a problem when I apply to Visa? Also does the college provide any basic courses in programming for students who are not from an IT background? My apologies for bombarding you with all this questions. Really appreciate your responses. 💚

Your background won’t be an issue for the visa (i hope). If you’re a fast learner it will be very useful cause we have so much course work 😭😔

@@chansmile226 I don’t think that should be a problem as I did international relations and now changed course to business administration and I got my admission in Mohawk college. I think you’ll just explain in your statement of purpose why you’re changing course. Hope this helps and praying we get our visa accepted 😊

Hi reshika, thanks for watching!! I completed a different program so I just have a basic idea about GBM, it’s more like an MBA. If you’re interested in the modules it would be great. However if possible try to complete a more specific program if any such is available ex, programs in accounting /marketing/intl relations, whatever that aligns with your career, rather than doing a general mba
