A long way from Herrarna i Hagen 1992. Open Me is my own reminder-song - a prayer to open me for connection, emotions, for our human alikeness and longing to let go and to open up for more of myself in this stressful, performance-driven world.
LIVE recorded piano with pianist Martin Östergren, together with Fredrik vocals in a classic Stockholm studio Edsbakcka rosteri 2023. The “Essence” of the song with added live string quartet.
Written for us stressed, life puzzling, humans longing to slow down - relax, curious about mindfulness, self-development, and want to reconnect with ourselves and our partner.
If you are religious - its a prayer to God…
If not - a prayer for you and your partners (or friends, parents, childs or pets) longing to be opened up for love again.

Filmed by Nicci Notini/Reakt who spontaniously set up your cameras in my living room in Stjärnsund Dalarna Sweden creating this amazing atmosphere for my prayer of Opening that I wrote together with Marcus Albinsson.
My brother Martin Östergren who plays the piano on the recording, arranged the strings and has been such an enormous support in creating the whole album "Essence" from which this first single is taken.
And Ossian Ryner my friend for 40 years who put his mixing talent and love into my music with so much patience for so many projects now!
We recorded 14 songs live in the studio and then added the strings.
