I’m shaking up and down my head and agreeing with you Matt! You’re words and vocabulary helps me put it into words I didn’t know how to say it. Invaluable this video💎🦋🇨🇦👩🏻

Seriously you are my hero. I hope that you have healed from your setback, so strong to go through two withdrawals.

Profound story Matt. In my old life, pre-antibiotic induced poisoning, I was a bit of a mountain climber. I miss those days. Your story gives me hope that one day I can return to this way of life.

Never knew malnutrition causes panic attacks. Looking back now I can certainly see how that could have been the driver for my own. Currently 5 years beyond an SNRI taper and 2.5 years beyond a benzo CT. Recognizing subtle improvements with each passing year.

I am going through it now. You are so right and I can't wait to heal. My doctors says the same thing to me and I tell him "no, that is not who I am or what I have anymore". I continue to taper and the docs haven't a clue.

When you start losing weight like that, continued dieting/starving causes you to get into a really bad cycle that is very difficult to stop. When the body is starving you become dehydrated and your electrolytes can easily be off. This will make you anxious and depressed. It is indeed a chemical imbalance because you are starved, but it's not a mental illness. You are deficient in food. You are not deficient in benzos. I am so saddened that people with ED (eating disorders) are falsely diagnosed with mood or anxiety disorders when really they are nutritionally deprived. I never had to withdraw from benzos but I went off antipsychotics which was nothing like Matt describes. Benzo withdrawal really sounds horrible! Going off antipsychotics I couldn't sleep at all for about five years. I felt like the walking dead. It has now been seven years and I still get very desperate over getting to sleep at times.

I'm so mad at Matt samet. He just vanished and you can't hear from him at all!!! So many people want to know how he is but he has just abandoned the community. I can't care for anything he said 7 years ago honestly. I want an update about how he is these days.

Matt´s teeth are incredibly similar to mine, as if we have half the teeth we should, I suspect bruxism is responsible for this cause I have the same benzo problem ( plus the opiate one - well, buprenorphine, probably even worse)

see the warning signs, and move away quickly, at least that works for me . . . IDK?
